Kourtnie F. Aileru, commonly known as wacklikethat, is a new media artist who practices multimedia installation and performance. Hir creative endeavors tend to investigate intersection(s) race, gender, and sexuality within a queer(ed) paradigm. Ze oftentimes situates these concepts within the personal and collective imaginary, projecting marginalized bodies and their subjectivities into celestial time and space. The visual, sonic, and literary production of wacklikethat is informed by postcolonial rhetoric and discourse on the speculative fiction.

wacklikethat was born in Providence, RI where ze lives and works as a student, community arts educator, and grassroots organizer.
