Gavin Hogben
Gavin Hogben is a practising architect and teacher, whose research explores the frontier between architecture and digital media, and traces changing concepts of body and place in today’s hypermediated universe. Emerging media technologies blur simple distinctions between the actual and the virtual, and his work has focused on designs that cross from the architectural environment, through physical and procedural aspects of media interfaces, to the construction of the media environments themselves. Currently, he is working on applications of handheld technologies for exhibit, festival and performance environments.
