Whether focused on the individual’s relationship with technology, family, or institutional structures-my work originates in personal narrative. Currently I am interested in an individual and collective voicing of desire for community and for relationships. I take these utterances and give them multiple forms of expression and dissemination. Taking desire away from its original mode of communication to test its voice, effectiveness, metaphors and resonance.
